Pool Type - Designed by Specialists
Design - This type of pool can either be designed by you or by your pool builder/pool architect. It's shape is very similar to "conventional" swimming pools, straight lines, formal in appearance. The filtration zone can either be integrated as part of the pool, located next to the pool or act as your water garden eye catcher somewhere dominant in your garden. And if you do not want to see the filtration zone at all, then you can hide it away. No plants required in that case. Your pool can be built from as little as 20 m2 to 100 m2 or even larger - or you decide to use a fiberglass shell. Pool Type - Designed by Nature
Design - This is the type of Natural Pool which is as close to nature you can get. It looks great in summer and winter when it's too cold for swimming. It's a habitat for birds, frogs, dragon flies and many more. Can be built from as little as 20 m2 to 300 m2 or even larger. Simple to build - excavation, liner, rockwork and landscaping around the edges - finished. Price - Typically from $15,000 to $50,000 depending on size and landscaping around it. Pool Type - Designed by Conversions
Design - The design of your existing pool can stay as is, all you have to do is add a Natural Filtration System to it. Either along the edge, or anywhere in your backyard, where it looks best as your water garden while its also fulfilling its purpose to naturally filter the water for your pool. With all these pools the advantage is – swimming in Natural Living Water – like in a crystal clear rock pool in Northern Queensland or a Mountain Lake in New Zealand. No more chlorine or other chemicals, no more water changing every few years, as the content of chemicals has reached unbearable levels. Especially with the Natural type we’ve seen quite a few also utilized as a good looking water tank or dam, where the roof water from the building is directly fed into the pool.
The water is extremely soft and even tastes good if you happen to have a drink – and no need to shower afterwards. After a swimming experience in one of these you most likely never want to go back to a chlorinated pool – that was from our own experience.
